Supporting Your Chapter


Advisors and headquarters representatives can help reinforce strong chapter operations by maintaining communication with undergraduate leadership and partnering with FSL when challenges or opportunities arise.

Officer Transitions

Encourage intentional transitions between outgoing and incoming chapter officers and continuity in organizational records and expectations.

Leadership Development

Support chapter officers in participating in FSL trainings, council programming, leadership development, and educational opportunities.

Communication with FSL

Maintain regular communication with the appropriate FSL staff member and contact the office early when concerns or significant chapter developments emerge.

Risk Prevention

Help chapter leaders understand organizational and university expectations related to events, member safety, accountability, and risk reduction.

Academic Support

Encourage chapter cultures that support academic achievement, member accountability, and effective use of campus academic resources.

Organizational Accountability

Partner with chapter leaders and FSL to address concerns promptly and reinforce expectations for responsible organizational conduct.
